Took some time away from work today to get the #SwampMilkweed & #BeeBalm in the ground, ahead of the horrible 90-101F 10 day forecast coming our way. Added some mulch to try and keep them from drying out too much. Hopefully these will bring some more #pollenators to our #garden!

A bumblebee gathering nectar on a small aster flower. Taken with a Laowa 25mm macro lens at ~2.5X and f/8. I am still learning to use this lens and it is very challenging. I am thankful for IBIS, as this lens is completely manual and you focus by moving the camera forward and back from the subject. This is not a complaint, I enjoy the challenge and set the camera to its maximum fps. As you might be able to see the plane where the image is in focus is very narrow.
