It's nice to hear that, but the reality is that laws protecting
#whistleblowers are routinely ignored, whistleblowers are fired and sued and those who keep at it regardless may end up as transients or homeless.
There is no recourse unless somebody is both wealthy and persistent enough to obtain even an adequate attorney. Attorneys who take these cases even for tens of thousands of dollars are rare.
I ended up in a
#whistleblower situation in 2021 due to the fact that I owed a P.I. a favor. I spent 2022 to 2024 being sued in three actions by a corporation that was determined to use a "shock and awe" boatload of actions to shut me up.
I won so conclusively in 2024 that I didn't even sign a settlement. But I'm about an inch from needing to go through all of it again with two more corporations.
If you're audacious enough to speak up, you'll be called a "vigilante", lied about, and possibly physically threatened. Afterwards, you'll probably need to work until you die. No retirement for you. It isn't much like a feel-good Hollywood movie.
If you'd like to claim that there is actually a way to obtain representation in a whistleblower case, feel free to contact me and prove it. I'm seeking it presently.
