Aditional views of the Noisy Cricket prop replica.

More looks at the multi-ped forklift.
To make it more "future" I added cameras about the exterior and monitors inside the cab. One of these cameras is a 360° dome, on the end of the arm.

More views of this crashed van.
The (now) ruined building was made from foamcore and card, with one cast piece; the wooden planks blocking the window.
The Luggage mimic.
I realised recently that Pratchett's Luggage is basically a mimic.
So I merged the ideas and made one.
More photos of my The Outer Worlds pistol prop replica.
The yellow heat shield / vent area is partially made from a pill bottle. It was conveniently sized and curved for the job.
Bard the bowman, still standing atop the burning tower.
The string of his bow is a very thin wire that I added myself. Because I just can't help myself from adding tiny details.
More angles of this Trench diorama.
A partially filled sandbag, broken footboard and even the coffee rings next to the radio, all tell a little part of the story of this corner of a trench.
The Junkube returns.
Straight-on views of the upper faces.
I see the top of a syringe plunger,
the on/off indicator of a shower switch,
part of a razor blade,
a metal strip from inside a battery compartment,
the lid of a pencil lead case,
some cogs,
and an air-freshner strength adjuster piece.
More angles of this angular Quake Fiend.
This model also got a printed 2D floor texture for a base.
More from the Hut on Mound...
...that, while it deserves it, probably won't get a proper name any time soon.
For the windows I used actual tissue paper, with wire (painted and then) glued on for support and then glued into the frames.
These windows work nicely with the LEDs inside, producing a nice glow.
More views of the Sprue hut.
With some moody lighting.
Inside the wood of the hut still looks fairly fresh, but the outside is sun-bleached grey.
More views of Bilbo from this diorama.
The scenery is mainly layers of cardboard, cut in harsh shapes, covered with tissue paper/PVA and then textured with plaster.
More angles of the CD City.
Including the service station on the bypass (gotta build bypasses...), and a subway that makes use of the headphone and power ports with track and a train peeking out.
Star Trek TOS Type-2 phaser.
1:1 scale prop replica, built from scratch, with display base.
The basic form was constructed in wood, which was then skinned with plastic and putty.
Deinobot.
Or Dino-bot if you prefer.
Based on Deinonychus as if it were in Horizon Zero Dawn.
Scratchbuilt with a few odd kit parts thown in.
The Mechanic.
Built from scrap and sprue parts to make use of the Wave Serpent pilot (that I didn't use in my Wave Serpent).
This then became my army/collection Tech priest / Techmarine etc.
May the 8th be slightly late for you.
Scratch-built original lightsabre prop.
Just thowing some random junk pieces together to make something that resembles "a" lightsabre, rather than trying to replicate any particular one.
Included a sprung trigger, so a "totally" works.
Gollum, distracted with a caught fish, doesn't notice the hobbit.
More views of the diorama using this pair of Mithril Miniatures.
Mirkwood Book Nook.
To display the Mithril-Miniatures figures of Elrond and Thranduil I built a book-nook.
Scratchbuilt trees and some elven architecture.
Built the box first, with planning for the interior. Then built and painted the two halves before closing them together.
Refinery?
The question mark is deliberate, as I was just sticking stuff together with no real idea of what I was building. What I ended up with looked a bit like a refinery of some sort.
The doorway was from a Rhino, and there's a few cast details. But there is also sprue pieces, drinking straws, wires and plastic test tubes across the model.
