@TheConversationUS Unfortunately, #TheConversation US is not absolutely trustworthy. In the context of "trustworthy" means "not absolute" but it is not. There are always again articles reflecting the #propaganda lies people there have been #socialized with more than the #facts. #Falsifications sometimes occur then. And as always, there is great resistance to viewing traditional #life #lies as such. This is particularly bad when it comes to #aggressors such as #Russia, #Turkey or #Azerbaijan.
The more I think about it the more attractive the world of #MyNeighbourTotoro is.
Live in a small #rural #village surrounded by (paddy) fields and wooded hills with mountains in the distance. Friendly #neighbours who help one another out in general and band together in a crisis.
I could live in a light airy house with one of those Japanese vertical bath tubs, #WorkFromHome, #cycle or #walk locally and take good affordable #PublicTransport for longer journeys. Good fairly #Socialized #LocalHealthCare too.
The house would have a #garden for #vegetables and a semi-wild #meadow / lawn. There would be trees for shade and hanging #hammocks and swings.
The presence of huge, furry Shinto #kami spirits / #GeniusLoci would be a wonderful added bonus.

@angelsomething In Corporate America risk is #socialized, while profits are privatized.
The reason there’s no pushback from the #GOP on #public #school #shooting is that they don’t believe in #PublicSchools.
Every time it happen the perception increases that public school is unsafe. It increases the likelihood that #parents will #homeschool. And the GOP is all about shifting the #burden of #education entirely on parents.
Each shooting is analogous to murdering #socialized education.
The kids are just collateral damage to their goal.
