Frozen #Chunks a la #starfield. Left = Korma, right = Butter Chicken. Gonna make Ticka Masala and Vindaloo chunks this weekend.

figured out how to use them in the micro: run for 30 seconds. Mash the cube, then run the mashed curry for another 30 seconds.

Best thing about freezing curry over using it from the bottle is that once you open it, the content has to be eaten or it will start to get mold within 3 days.

Also quite cheap to make curry like this:

  • A bit of chicken, maybe €1.5
  • A boil in bag rice: €0.8
  • Curry chunk of choice: €1.2

TOTAL: €3.5 for one large portion of curry chicken.

Yes, i know rice is cheaper in bulk, but if i do it like this, i can just set a timer for 20 minutes (on my Airfryer) and i don't have monitor the kitchen.

I started playing Starfield and, I don’t know about you, but I found the intro mission absolutely forgettable. That negotiation with the leader of the Scarlet Fleet was ridiculous, it was even embarrassing to see that Bethesda, the same company which made Skyrim, thought of such a bad plot. A lot of people leashed out about Mass Effect Andromeda, but at least its intro missions were engaging somehow.

I use 5x5 cm icecube forms to make then. I then freeze 'em and then let then thaw slowly.

Putting them in a microwave to heat fast is NOT a good idea, the cube exteriors will be scorched and you end up with a dark brown mess that looks like something your dog leaves behind when you go for a walk - but smells better 😄
