Over the last ninety minutes I've gotten over a dozen RCS spam messages through #TMobile - this is definitely new behavior. They're all the same fake-o USPS "we can't get your package" BS from international numbers. A new one appears once every 6 minutes. The Messages app isn't (can't?) flagging them as spam automatically, and it's a notification every time. Is anyone else experiencing this?

@ohno_itsnate @GrapheneOS in #Germany specific and the #EU in general there's a flourishing market in terms of devices. Not just #phones, but also #CPE|s:

  • In fact providers ain't allowed to force people to only use their devices, but even enable.them to install their own modems for cable, xDSL & fiber and not restrict peoples device choices. Some MVNO even got sentenced¹ to not charging people for switching devices with #eSIMs but reissue/transfer those free of charge.

For the most part, people here either get a contract and an unlocked phone subsidized by it or just a contract and bring their own or prepaid (again BYOD)...

#Verizon Home Internet at our house has been struggling to maintain even -100 dBm, and upstream has been steadily decaying for months. Unloaded latencies are sometimes as much as 1–2 SECONDS! #Tmobile gets -80 dBm here. Picked up a Tmo gateway this evening. 🤞

Kromě toho, že si ČEPS bude muset zamést před vlastním prahem, měli by to samé udělat i TMO a O2, protože během výpadku proudu byla dostupnost mobilních dat a chvílemi i mobilního signálu jako takového velmi, velmi tristní.
