Jan Sobotka<p>Nemůžu si pomoct, ale příjde mi, že starší software resp. software navržený v dobách dřívějších je minimálně na Windows prostě efektivnější.</p><p>Na služební notebook s relativně čerstvou instalací Windows 11 už jsem si stihnul stáhnout XnView, protože defaultní "Fotky" se prostě nedaly. So potentially a pretty small audience? I have played with it a bit and it's super similar to TC and I'm very happy with it so far.</p>

Not Simon<p><strong>Kaspersky</strong> reports on a malware campaign (dubbed DuneQuixote) targeting government entities in the Middle East. Two droppers used (including a trojanized installer for a legitimate tool called Total Commander) downloads a payload for a new backdoor called CR4T. Для тех, кто сидит на Венде, думаю, будт интересно.

CubixExplorer — файл-менеджер с табами, написанный 10 лет назад на #Delphi ;-) Его автор исчез бесследно и внезапно, оставив после себя сорцы, к которым, правда, никто так и не притронулся. Тем не менее, за прошедшие 10 лет ничего более удобного, имхо, так и не появилось. Под 10-кой работает вполне корректно.

Неполный список фич:

  • Возможность портативной установки
  • Регистрирует себя вместо Explorer’а (есть нюанс — специальные папки вроде шрифтов и элементов панели управления нужно будет открывать правой кнопкой мыши)
  • Поддерживаются табы
  • 1,5-панельный интерфейс (одновременно отображается окно с табами + дополнительное окно без табов) + дерево
  • Сохранение сессий, порядка сортировки, вида и вот это всио
  • Закладки
  • Быстрые фильтры по типу файлов/маске
  • Панели, окна, кнопки — настраиваются чуть менее чем полностью
  • Темы интерфейса
  • Быстрый просмотр картинок, видео (не всех), простенький редактор с подсветкой синтаксиса
  • Ну там еще поиск, Drop-окошко, чтобы накидать туда файлов из разных мест (бывает, глючит), и всякие удобства по мелочи

Да, многие вещи, скажем так, недоделаны, но при этом он падает очень редко, 99% лично мне нужных функций файл-менеджера — в наличии. Главное, что он выглядит красиво, при этом компактно и очень гибко настраивается. Конечно, до функциональности того же #TotalCommander как до Пекина раком, но для совсем специфичных целей есть отдельные специфичные приложения.

Taką dzisiaj w pracy miałem rozkmine z kolegą. Jest #totalcommander którego uwielbiam. Czy jest jakaś alternatywa 1:1 crossplatformowa?

Używałem niegdyś Double Commander, ale coś tam nie działało dobrze i się zawieszał.

Free Commander też polegał gdzieś.

Midnight commander jest bez GUI i nie robi tego samego.

A totalcmd jest w zasadzie jedynym narzędziem, które trzyma mnie mocno przy #windows. Ilekroć używałem #linux.a, to po paru tygodniach, czy miesiącach musiałem się z nim żegnać, bo brakowało mi najbardziej totala ;)
