I've almost made another fabric patch #upcycled from jeans!

The lighter scrap jean material were from a pair donated to the thrift shop I work at: and were unsellable. The other was a pair of mine that had a pen leak. The white fabric is a from a jean pocket.

Made a bunch I plan to sew them on thrifted jeans and sell them... similar to my over-shirt like.

Bruh so much fabric and clothes get scrapped in landfills... why not like make door and window draught excluders out of fabric leftovers we can't use and give them free to people in the winter time when it's cold :blobaww:

Like this!!! This is super easy to make and uses up so many unusable pieces of fabric as stuffing

I've just uploaded a whole lot of new stuff to my personal for-sale site (UK only)

epic-attic.co.uk

A lot of it is parts for making electric guitar amplifiers (more to come)

there's also a variety of electronics to salvage (many power supplies of various sorts)

some fountain pens (more to come)

misc household items

old computers and routers

and I'm not done yet.

I really need categories next - but search is working.

prices are mostly somewhat indeterminate as it's a lot of research to work out a fair price, but get in touch if you see anything you fancy.

Anyone recommend guides on upcycling disposable electronics into at least fun gadgets and doodads, if not something useful. Things like the disposable vaporizers or one-time use electronics, *disposable" electronics, and things like that I might be able to scrounge as trash. A living wiki like guide of known electronics and a list of the major components and how to break them down would be a neat thing.

I want a small low stakes low cost project.

✨ #Refashion sneak peek! Super fun, creative project, mixing scrap fabrics, old garment pieces, decorative stitching, patchwork, and even granny squares! 🧶 It's all about giving new life to what could otherwise end up in the trash. ♻️

I LOVE these kinds of projects because it's a chance to get playful with different techniques, experiment with designs, and reuse materials in a way!

Stay tuned to see the transformation! 🔥✨

Well, I've done some more tacky tacking, and like repeatedly patching some shonky code, it may do. It certainly looks overtly 'mended' which may be good for festival boogieing shorts, but they'd better not be my only pair! #repair #upcycle #mend

Before & After!

I ended up redoing part of it because I had given the legs way too much flare, but proud of myself for making this lace super quickly, it was worth it!

I still want to take in a few centimeters at the waist at some point but I don't have time, so a belt will do for now.

It feels so nice when you can reuse what you already have and make it prettier too!

Added cool stars to the back of this pair of thrifted. I thought the black would contrast pretty bad but it looks pretty fine ig.

Going to do blue stars on the front legs in the same sorta position but maybe in a different thread.

Also these gem things left glue behind I couldn't get off so I covered it up with buttons I found off something earlier this week. Hopefully they stay on and look cool.

A pair of thrifted jeans that I jazzed up using scrap jean fabric.

I wanna get so into making upcycled clothes and sewing and selling stuff I make more and maybe joining a craft community.

I have about 3 more that are almost done that will go on my ebay soon too. Idk prices at all.
