There are also some walk-ins scheduled for schools in Massachusetts on May Day. What is a "walk-in"?

From the National Education Association: "During school walk-ins, parents, educators, and students, along with neighbors and community leaders, gather in front of their school 30-45 minutes before the school day begins. We rally and listen to a few speakers discuss what they want for the school, and then we all walk into the school together. Walk-ins can be used to celebrate your school, collaborate with school officials, or protest harmful school conditions and policies."

A friend of mine in #Toronto is going through a tough #mentalhealth time. The #walkin #clinic doctor he has been seeing enough for him to call his "family doctor" has is willing to make a referral, but only if my friend finds the appropriate professional *first*. He's at the point where he's grappling with $cost, #OHIP ? complexity etc. and just general overwhelmingness. Anyone know a 1-800 or pro-tip shortcut to finding ready/affordable #mentalhealth care in Toronto/ONT? Any hints? 1/2
