A quotation from Euripides

CHORUS: Those whose cause is just will never lack
   good arguments.

[ΧΟΡΟΣ: φεῦ φεῦ: βροτοῖσιν ὡς τὰ χρηστὰ πράγματα
   χρηστῶν ἀφορμὰς ἐνδίδωσ᾽ ἀεὶ λόγων.]

Euripides (485?-406? BC) Greek tragic dramatist
Hecuba [Hekabe; Ἑκάβη], l. 1238ff (c. 424 BC) [tr. Arrowsmith (1958)]

“In #science it often happens that scientists say, ‘You know that’s a really good #argument; my position is mistaken,’ and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn’t happen as often as it should, because scientists are #human and #change is sometimes painful.” - Carl #Sagan

In all seriousness tho:

The "demon argument" is an actual argument made by religious fanatics to make people fear us #LGBTQIA+ folk because "Look! They're influenced by DEMONS! So scary! And EEEVILLL!!11!". It's horseshit.

#Demons are of course just #fantasy, but even if you took it at face value, it’s a terrible #argument. It’s just #bigotry with one extra step.

And yes, some nutjub UNIRONICALLY did the "#priDEMONth" wordplay in a terrible meme some years ago. #FAIL.
