This one took me ~3h20, which is the longest one so far. I guess I got carried away with the setting haha

The bird is mostly grey with darker wings and tail, a white stripe along its eye and a black cap. Its beak and legs are a dark red colour.

Doodle of the day: Black-fronted Bulbul (bird picked at random)

Started yesterday, finished this morning! This one took me 2h15~

Digital doodle of a greyish brown bird standing on a loose branch with leaves and berries. The bird’s head is a warm black, it’s long thin bill is a colder black. It has red bare skin around its eye.
A gear-lever to light gradient is visible on its chest, and its wings and tail are black.
The feathers at the base of it’s tail are a bright yellow.

Art 365/096: Blooming

Although I've been keeping up with making daily art, I haven't been posting it.

Starting Wednesday I'll be traveling and to keep things simple, I'm leaving my watercolours at home. I'll do extra paintings when I get home.

Doodle of the day: Buffy-crowned wood partridge (bird picked at random)

I had some trouble sketching this one because it looks like a chicken with a falcon head so the proportions were a bit tricky. But I got there!

This drawing took me 2h10!

The bird has a large body and small head, its body isa greyish-brown colour with orange spots. Its head is a brighter orange with a few silver feathers. It has a beige mask, a small beak and bare red skin around its eyes.
