We use it at #FediHost and will probably support it when the #ActivityPub integration rolls out.
Wordpress is a mess and isn’t built to publicize content and build a subscriber base.
But ultimately the problem for your subscriber growth is that you’re not doing the thing that pumped hundreds of thousands of new people into the “acquisition funnel”. Videos are second to none and extremely overpowered for promoting things.

@atomicpoet It is not so cost prohibitive as people think @fedihost has really great prices, 10GB storage starting at $7/mth ... and it's even managed hosting, so no need to have the technical chops:)

@emon @shellsharks Yeah, I do agree unfortunately. I host my own #Friendica instance, but I practically require an account on another big instance for discovery purposes.
My global feed is only populated with accounts that users on my instance (aka me) already follow, so in order to populate my global feed, I need to follow people (that I find where exactly without a global feed?).
