Has anyone thought of generating a Git-book style reference manual by training GPT on a project's API documentation? It seems like Git-books are basically rehashes of the API documentation, but with more filler text.

Seeing as how upstream #GitBook open source project was discontinued some time ago and heavy pricing, I want to ask anyone still downloading my plugin one thing.

Do you know https://github.com/honkit/honkit? #HonKit is a prolonging fork of GitBook, which is a viable solution for #selfhosted #documentation and authoring other types of publications.

My gitbook-plugin-language-picker is still being downloaded, even though I abandoned it 6 years ago. Is language picker still a relevant addition, I wonder?

I was thinking of putting together a resource guide for new #Mastodon and #fediverse folks in #law and #lawfedi (more to the point, users on this instance).

Sort of like a central page with links to the great community-sourced tools and user lists, etc.

First, does this seem relevant and/or needed? Second, does anyone have strong opinions one way or the other about making it a wiki hosted on GitBook?
