INEOS Hull plant's 75% cut in carbon emissions came from improving energy efficiency in their plant.
They invested £30MM in hydrogen-compatible equipment to convert a waste #hydrogen stream into onsite #H2 fuel usage, displacing purchased natural gas. #NatGas savings will pay for the new kit.
18 days of continuous operation producing hydrogen is ripe for commercialization, right? And those reactors look huge, am I right? Yay RMIT University, University of Melbourne, Australian Synchrotron, and the University of New South Wales.
