Today, I looked at the state of #kdump for #riscv in @opensuse #tumbleweed. Still broken, but I have at least written down just what exactly is broken.

So, one of my home servers crashed... again. The new power supply didn't help. Also, #kdump didn't dump anything, so it is useless in my case. I'm still hoping that the issue is not in the CPU or motherboard. I still have something to try among the most common server hang reasons.

Next is power management. Need to try to disable any power management settings in #BIOS. Wish me luck.

Valve has been working on kdumpst, which supports saving vmcore and dmesg in pstore and kdump.
