Outdoor installation in an old electrical substation. Denim shoddies soaked in black bean water, sprouted beans. Sibling work to a video installation inside the building (Ear, Hand, Mouth).
These were the culminating works for an ongoing practice of digging, physically and metaphorically, at this site for four months. The work explores roots, release, and the unseen.
