Again while we had power today I decided to rather than my .

It is a last gen model yet by today's standards it is a rather old device that is end of life - gosh, Apple even closed the department responsible for the development years ago.

And despite all that those routers are the most reliable ones I've ever used - they just keep on working :apple:.

However once in every 3-5 years it might be a good idea to replace the fan and also the thermal pads on those and get rid of the dust to keep em going strong.

I've done that already to my Time Capsule of the same era, so quick and easy fix it was, but no less enjoyable 🙌

A few years ago I bought an iRig BlueBoard Bluetooth MIDI switch. The listing on ebay from the official IK Multimedia page said it was "open box", but it turned out to be pretty worn unit with a dead C button backlight 😳

Now awaiting a set of replacement lightning connectors from AliExpress that have 5 contact pins and support fast charge to fix another Apple cable - USB-C to Lightning this time 🧐

Our vacuum cleaner was used to collect all the dust when techs were drilling the walls to install an air conditioner about a year ago.
After that the hoover started malfunctioning quite badly and despite all my attempts to clean it at some point recently we felt a burning smell - time to investigate and 😎
I disassembled it and to my surprise did an amazing job - all of the screw are Phillips and have similar thread - plus from a reparability standpoint. And in general everything is modular and easy to work with.
As soon as I reached the motor I've figured that it's starting to burn out probably because of the cement dust got inside of it, so I've ordered a replacement and today join me in celebration of yet another successful with
