#Theremin #Music #SoundProofing
As we live in a terraced house, I have spent 16 months playing my Theremin with headphones on, so as to not disturb our neighbours. Playing "live" sounded totally different and was a tad disorienting. So last week I decided to line the shared wall and other bits of my music room with 2440x1220x50 cm polystyrene sheets. Seems to have worked a treat!

I've been working on art projects on my Instagram page and I'm getting some weird glitching (it's just weird telling me they're limiting my activity...but I'm not sure what is being limited). Probably because the algorithm has yet to decide if I'm a real person. Maybe I need more people looking at my page?

I posted a new video tonight where I made this portable soundproofing panel thing for when I do narration. Let me know what you think! Share this post or share the link from Instagram because I'm told that helps. And comment and like on the Instagram, if you would. Thanks friends!

How to best sound-proof a door between two rooms?

Say I have a rat maze experiment that involves sounds and I don’t want to disrupt my colleagues’ experiments.
Or say my rats get distracted by the noises next door and I don’t want to have loud white noise during my task.
In this case the door is almost never in use, although it would be ideal if it could work on a door that’s in use as well.

PS: I cannot replace the door. The sound seems to come from the space between the door and the door frame.
