@herrsaalfeld That was the conclusion of “Biospheres from Earth to Space” by D. Sagan & Lynn Margulys: wherever humans go, they necessarily take with them the constraints under which they evolved, and the easiest way to do that is to take the biosphere with them. The book describes spacefaring humans as biosphere seeds to be dispersed by the solar winds across the galaxy.
