I watch one of the 2 jays picking up whatever the nuthatches & tits have dropped from the bird feeder, but it’s very cold compared to last week. Def woolen socks & thick gloves today.
In the end I have to take my coffee inside

I now have 4 different crow birds visiting: Pair of hooded crows from across the road, parts of the jackdaw gang, the pair of magpies & recently 2 jays that have decided to settle down near by

Gratefully every item on the list was included today
Except for checking that, I’ve done nothing in the garden but watched the birds & squirrels fight over nuts & apples under the rhododendron
The wren has now attracted 2 females to inspect his nests overhead

More plants have been acquired because why the hell not? Continued the attack on mountain of soil sitting in the driveway and reduced it down to 1/4th of what it was. Still need to put down layer on few more planting beds.
