IT Technical Salesperson L3
IfATE are looking to withdraw the IT Technical Salesperson standard and not replace it.
The proposal is to refer providers, employers and apprentices to Sales Executive Level 4.

This morning, I hosted a webinar for line managers supporting digital #apprentices. A quick straw poll revealed that, on average, employers rate their awareness of the #assessment plan as 3.8/10. If I took those who had recently completed an apprenticeship out of the calculations, it drops to 2.7/10.
You can't help someone to learn to drive without knowing the Highway Code. You can't help your apprentices prepare for #EPA without understanding the assessment plan.

A reminder! APAR approaching...
From the 1 August 2023, when an organisation receives recognition for a standard from Ofqual or the Office for Students (OfS) they will automatically be placed onto the list of approved EPAOs. DfE will merge this list with the Register of Apprenticeship Training providers (ROATP) and rename it the ‘apprenticeship providers and assessment register’ (APAR).
