love Class 90s - such pretty trains, and some of the last trains built by British Rail before being privatised, and they're electric beasts at that. What's not to love?!

Juniper style! These Alstom units aren't that common anymore, and I saw far more 318s and 320s - on other lines they've been almost completely replaced by Siemens Class 380s, but on this line, the Argyll line, the older EMUs were being used :3

Route-learning, what an evidently tiring business! Here we see a DRS Class 66 being used "light" (ie, without towing anything) for route learning purposes! I ended up seeing this loco a couple times, moving through the station on different training runs. But evidently the trainer is getting quite bored, as evidenced by them having their feet up in this window!
