Monday morning vertical gravel ride.
I didn't want to go far from home this morning so I got out of my cave and went to the wood close by. This is where I do some "hamstergravel" up & down the hill.
A little bit of fun even though the temperature is already very high under the tree shadows.

When I took this photo back in August 1992, this lovely farm in Cornwall, Connecticut was producing raw milk. The red barns stand in a lush green field under a partly cloudy sky. I liked the shadow this tree cast this evening. Sort of like a snowflake in July.
The sun is low in the late afternoon, and it casts a dramatic shadow of a tree onto this old red barn in Lyman NH. The section of the barn on the right with the vertical siding looks like an old English-style barn. The section on the left appears to have been added at a later date.
