Agile was born with the , of course.
Soon afterwards, became . From then on, it only got worse. became a ‘training’ thing.
But ‘agility’ (just as actual or ) is and must be a different theory about how to design and organize work and value creation. It requires re-thinking organization – and put thinking on the garbage heap of history.
or or won’t help people rethink organizational theory.
The movement avoided the theory problem. That’s why it has been so popular and also why it failed, utterly and completely.

@BetaCodex your history of #Agile is incorrect all the approaches #Scrum #XP #FDD #Crystal predate the manifesto event.

@mlevison
My post does not claim the opposite.
Read more closely what it actually says.

Or do you just want to be right?
Then you are right. Fine.

What do you think about the actual point of the post?

@BetaCodex Agile didn’t become Scrum. There are deep problems with orgs buying Agility and not understanding it’s a mindset not a list of practices.

Your post was poorly phrased

@BetaCodex
I consider myself being #agile. I think about theories a lot, I even think about thinking about theories. I don't see #agile failing - we are quite successful with it - and apparently it has not "become #scrum".

Btw.: And what is this agile movement thing? Can I join it? Do they have rituals, sth like a secret greeting etc.?

@Holzer
So what ARE your results?
You do not have to explain yourself, of course. But just claiming that you are "quite successful" is what the fake agilists are doing all the time, you know?
To just say that there are results is not a fact.

Can we leave the irony out of the exchange, please? Thank you.

@Holzer
The mere fact that you claim to "be agile" shows that "you" aren't, you know?

@Holzer That style of interaction is a reason for muting (what I did) or blocking that account.

Throwing bold, often questionable and oversimplified claims (supporting a agenda) out into SoMe and then either becoming passive-aggressive or not engaging into exploring the topic if someone reacts.

Save your time.
