Well, turns out it's a bit picky, but I did find a few cool games I could actually play on Windows 3.0.
@dfx Simcity looks so cool there! And if you like turn based strategy games, there are loads of them for 3.0
@dfx Dark Seed II was also released for Windows 3.x
@sehnsucht Thank you, but I think "Dark Seed II" only runs on Windows 3.1 and up, not on Windows 3.0. This game was a 1995 CD-ROM release, so it's not even that old.
@dfx do u have publisher or possibly archive info for the tetris edition im a tetris fan

@em_cinnamon The first Tetris I owned as a kid was the one that came with the original GameBoy. NES version a little later.
