If you're in the #pasadena #altadena #sierramadre general area, I'm giving the above talk/hands-on help-desk event at the new Loma Alta branch of the Altadena library on July 2 from 3-4pm

This is intended to be the first in a series. and you can help determine what will be next. Bring your laptop and phone, we'll set you up with Keepass compatible password keeper, and synchronize the passwords between your devices using syncthing.

So there are 300 #california national guard in #losangeles without much to do and #LAPD is spending resources protecting the guard.
This is the same local crew that was so helpful a few months ago in #altadena and #malibu
They don't have a place to stay because the whole operation is ass backwards.

I'm thinking that we should blow up the false narrative and roll out the red carpet.
Set up some red cross relief centers, make sure they have a place to sleep and shower.
At the same time, withdraw support from ice (like #glendale ) and slow walk their requests.

Double down on the taco Tuesday mockery and create lots of photo ops of people chilling with the guard while wearing TACO T-shirts and punch-a-nazi signs, generally poke fun at Conald and illustrate the sham.

No war but class war.

I've been told by my contact at the #altadena library that theyre definitely interested in moving forward with a series of tech access events, starting in June. I haven't got specifics yet. But it will likely start with an event at the new location in Loma Alta park. I think each event will be duplicated at the main branch as well? It's not clear yet.

First topic will be organizing your passwords in a keepass compatible password keeper, and synchronizing it between laptop/phone with syncthing.
