This morning we drove to #Woodend.
It was about 10.30 or so.
To my surprise we saw 5 #mobs of #kangaroos along the #Calder.
A bit late for them to be about & in such numbers.
Sometimes the morning came too soon

@hitc I think Lane Hutson had been a favorite for a few months to win this. What he did was pretty incredible stats wise, but also in terms of playmaking. His progression was phenomenal. And work ethics! He never takes a break from training and practice even on his days off. But for him he says it is not work. He loves #hockey that much.

Late on report, but it finished pretty late. Another 3 points game for #rookie #defense Lane Hutson in a #canadiens 5 to 3 win against #utahhc. He is now at 35 points and should really be at the front of the #calder race, he has been a gamebreaker for the #habs. What he does on the ice as a 20 years old is just mind blowing. His understanding of the game is on another level. He fed Laine (5 on 5 for a change), Caufield and Dach (who had two goals last night) #hockey #hnom #montreal #utahhockey

@hanspetermeyer @hnom one game short of half season, the #habs just got the 2nd wildcard spot in the east. It was also an important game for Lane Hutson who scored 1 goal and got 2 assist. He is now in 1st position for points (30 in 40 games, faster rate than Chris Chelios rookie season) for a rookie in front of Michkov and Celebrini and a serious contender for the Calder. And he is a defense, not a forward, making this even more remarkable. #nhl #hnom #hockey #calder #rookie

@Schwartzies wolf is Playing well for Calgary. They didn't make the mistake of calling him up prematurely. Unlike what Buffalo is doing to Levy. He is not a tall goalie but makes up for it in his athleticism which makes for a better game for the fans. I think that should factor in the Calder decision. Similar to what Lane Hutson is doing for the Canadiens. Enough with the forwards, let's reward more Defense and Goalies #hockey #nhl #Calder #rookies
