Another night of prep. This was taken as I was about to trim that big slab of Florentine bars in the background down into individual cookies. The dram's an expression I haven't had before from a distillery that's a nostalgic thing for me: Mortlach 21 Special Release 2020, cask strength at 56.9%ABV.

In 1976 Fairchild released Channel F System - the 1st console to use cartridges. One year later Atari released the VCS 2600 which outperformed Channel F system & successor System II. Fairchild dropped out of the market in 1979.

Fairchild licensed the Channel F system to various European companies: in Germany alone to 3 (Nordmende, ITT & SABA).

My specimen is a SABA Channel F cartridge, late 70s,in the days of simple graphics and tell-it-like-it-is game titles.

The bottom one is a kit house how it all started, the others completely home made hence the odd shapes. This year going to make some smaller ones as only me that eats them anyway!
