  • Mistress Dispeller, a lowkey remarkable film about a Chinese couple, the husband’s mistress, and the combination psychologist/detective the wife hires to help her get their marriage back on track
  • Prime Minister, about Jacinda Ardern’s tenure as New Zealand’s prime minister, from 2017 to 2023, an eventful time to be a world leader

Enjoyed the heck out of both of them, especially Prime Minister. The fact that my retirement savings is currently in shambles thanks to the United States’ current leader is doubly frustrating, since it makes me want to move to NZ all the more, and yet I really can’t afford it now . . .

Watched this great in-depth #documentary of the #spaceexploration #videogame genre from the 1960s through to today, and why we as players have yet to find the game that does it all. It’s a stark reminder that space doesn’t care what we want as players. As people, even.
