It's sadly ironic that we're seeing a rise in attacks against non-white hard-working people by teenagers who are living in social housing. And they most likely have been manipulated by the same bigots that caused the riots in 2023 which, btw, were theoretically caused "to protect kids from knive attacks". And what are these idiots doing now? Terrorising kids and their parents with knives, just because they're not white

#Ireland: The National #Transport Authority (NTA) and #Dublin Bus will extend Route L14 to Cherrywood via Shankill from 15 June 2025, nearly doubling the route’s coverage. The enhanced service links Southern Cross, Bray, Palermo, Shankill, Loughlinstown, Laughanstown, and Cherrywood, improving access to the Luas Green Line and supporting growing residential areas.

Introduced as part of Phase 6A of BusConnects, the extension strengthens connectivity across South Dublin and integrates more effectively with the wider public transport network. The route will maintain a 30-minute frequency, with 35 return services on weekdays, 32 on Saturdays, and 30 on Sundays and public holidays.

The extension adds a vital connection to Cherrywood Luas and continues to serve Bray Train Station, with interchanges to the 24-hour E1 and other local services. The move responds to passenger feedback and aims to provide more reliable, accessible transport options across the region.

Minister for Transport Darragh O’Brien and Dublin Bus CEO Billy Hann announced increased Garda presence, starting with a city-wide day on 10 June, with ongoing operations throughout 2025. The initiative supports drivers and improves passenger safety. Dublin Bus calls for a dedicated public transport policing unit to strengthen security. Both Minister O’Brien and Hann praised the partnership between Gardaí, Dublin Bus, and the Department of Transport, emphasising commitment to a safe and reliable public transport network across Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area.
