There would be only one way to make #fastfood cheap again with the current #food economy -

Have a very simple menu of items you could buy in bulk, and specialize in.

You know, kinda how it started with burgers, fries and shakes. Instead of trying to cater to every single group which only worked when food was cheap in general.

Now it's not, and fast food is killing itself by raising prices instead of doing a more simple menu.
