...I'm a bad friend... 😢 I've struggled with this before. That I felt like I wasn't a good friend. Like I should do better, be kinder, be more attentive, feel less jealousy, be better at remembering important things for them... 😔 This is not a post where I am hoping to get all the praise and kindness, where people tell me that I am such a good person. As we fast approach the start of construction; everything is in upheaval (at home & in the world), I’ve needed hubs to step up on the home front to assist. So, today, he’s hounding me about when he can get a tattoo. Me: are you fucking kidding me w/ this shit?! It’s at the bottom of the ocean of priorities right now. So, I ask my (out-of-state) friend: “When I have to murder my husband, you’ll help me bury the body, right?” Her near instant reply: “I have a shovel and airline miles.” #friendship
