@Calafinwe The more apt term for peeps who hate me & mine coz of my background, is #transmisic... which i learned here in fedi a couple of months ago. Since then i try to use it rather than my erstwhile #transphobia, for broader educational purposes, but afaict it's largely unknown atm still.

@MsDropbear42 ...aaaaaand so now i have abandoned #W1A, in S3 E1. In the last ep of S2 they began focusing their heavy-handed OTT mockery on inclusivity, so ofc they decided to use trans peeps for target practice [specifically transvestites vs transsexuals, grrrrrrrrrr]. In that prior ep they were still sufficiently vague as to be able to claim plausible deniability, so i persisted, albeit with dark foreboding. However in S3 E1 they dropped any pretence of subtlety & just went for it, via a big boofy supposed crossdresser, with that as The Joke.

Ugh. 🤢🤮

Any show, author, organisation et al that chooses to use trans peeps as a comedic &/or criminal device, makes an enemy of me evermore.
