Myre Merchant -

'I respawned in Witchfell 60 years ago. It's not nearly as nice a place as High Rock. Most of us leave. I've never really been a pathfinder, I was just looking for someplace safe to live, and ended up here. Myre has been good to me.'

Myre Market -

I wandered the collection of stalls, tents, carts and stands in amazement. Six weeks ago, I was in Vancouver, and now I was in a 'goblin market' in a swamp with glowing green plants. It was amazing, even if hundreds of 'me' had done it before.

Some sketches i am making as Stock Art for DnD.
Any suggestion on the kind of depth these characters should have in order to be appealing? I think they need to follow a story and convey emotion, but at what extent? Do these need to be still somehow blank slates to allow the players use them for their own stories?

4 different character design sketches, all of them in color, and lineart. First one is an older guy with a shield and a hammer, wearing shouilderpads and an apron, since he is a blacksmith. The second is an scholar girl with couple books hanging from her body with a leather belts and holding a third one on her hand. The third one is an archer dwarf making sing laanguage since he is mute, saying "how many?". Fourth one is a halfling thief with his hands broken and holding a knife and robbing a valuable plate.

Myre Docks -

My companion was a courier from Myre, and their mate (and business partner) was waiting for us at the docks when we arrived. I have no idea how they knew to be there.

The green light of the glowing plant orbs gives everything a strange and sickly tone, and does as much or more to illuminate the walkways and buildings than the yellow gas lights hanging from intermittent poles. A small raft is crossing the water in the lower left, and a Myre goblin is standing on a low pier. The goblin is vaguely amphibian in shape, with green tinged skin, a circular straw hat, a straw rain cloak and a simple tunic and paints.

The Outskirts of Myre -

As we approached, the fog thickened and the air grew darker. The sad pine trees were replaced by clumps of bamboo-like plants, mixed with kelp-like shoots with strange green-glowing orbs. I was told the sun never rises on Myre.
