Uninstalled #LuLu. Couldn’t tolerate the font in the dialog, I’m afraid. Not dropping a dime on #LittleSnitch. #mac #quoteunquote #firewall
Oh bugger off Adobe, I swear if I didn’t need Photoshop for work I’d never use your bloatware again! Seriously, what’s the need for all these ridiculous processes that resurrect themselves when killed?
Little Snitch feature nobody knows about
Thank you for putting Little Snitch #littlesnitch on sale for #blackfriday
I tried the trial a few months back and liked the software.
Trying to understand how notarization by #Apple for apps downloaded outside #AppStore works and what the benefits are: They are scanned for known malware, but that doesn’t mean you are protected against e.g. data exfiltration? Like a text editor that open files locally but also sends them to a cloud server.
This is where #LittleSnitch is a possible solution. But what if the app wants to access something on Cloudflare? How could to tell if that’s a benign connection or not?
@littlesnitch As a long time and happy user of #LittleSnitch, I welcome you on board
#DNS is a #privacy minefield. Here's my best shot at charting a safe course through.
New #blog post up now re: combining #AdGuardHome with rotating stable of #DNSCrypt resolvers, with #Tailscale #E2EE over #Mullvad exit nodes, and #Caddy obtaining certificates for #DOH — https://sij.law/dns/

Little Snitch users, do you leave the native MacOS firewall enabled, too?
Feel free to let me know why, regardless of your choice.
@tcurdt not a mac user at all, but, isn't this a good thing?
In fact, it's kinda weird that apps started with the terminal would bypass the permission check.
I used to run #LittleSnitch to achieve the same effect.
Hi @littlesnitch, after updating to #macOS15 and #LittleSnitch 6.1.1, I have a problem with SSH connections in the local network. After a short time, I get `ssh_dispatch_run_fatal: Connection to 192.168.172.6 port 22: Connection corrupted`. When I turn off Little Snitch, everything seems to be fine.
OMG! After migrating* to macOS Paranoia I launched the Passwords app and even before I entered my password to unlock it, Little Snitch started asking permission for *each* entry. I had to allow all connections so I didn't have to sit here all day clicking Allow.
*note I didn't say "upgrading."
Iihks….
Was erlaube #Apple !?
Was erlaube #Mail ??!
