Yeah - NOT trans kids/trans persons. 🤔

* unclear how WWE co-founder will approach gun violence
* no senator on either side of aisle asked her about mass shootings

The 19th · Linda McMahon became ed secretary without discussing schools’ scariest issue: guns By Nadra Nittle

My God!

"About 7% of U.S. adults have been present at the scene of a mass shooting in their lifetime, and more than 2% have been injured during one, according to new CU Boulder research.

The study, published March 7 in the journal JAMA Network Open, also found that younger generations were significantly more likely to have been exposed than their parents or grandparents were."

@petergleick aeit the latter one is a matter of #ViolenceCulture, not access to #guns, because the amount of #MassShootings per capita are way lower in places with even more relaxed gun laws (i.e. #Switzerland allows the sale of new machine guns to individuals), or way more rampant amounts of illegal guns (i.e. #Germany has at least 16,7M confirmed and estimated 40M+ guns in circulation) because media here doesn't rewards sociopaths with screentime!

This is not #RocketScience: More Guns = More Dead People 🤔

“Guns are the problem. Guns. Not mental health. Not gangs on campus. Not students arguing over social media posts. Guns. Without guns, the sickening news alerts that plague our smartphones would disappear.

As the media examined Monday’s school shooting in Wisconsin, we were told that “It’s complicated” and that there are “no simple answers.” That may be true up to a point, but the unifying factor in school shootings is guns”

I know for a lot of people this sounds like we are just simping for some candidate as if we were paid, but they're really is a stark difference.

Kamala Harris has talked of unity and the importance of respecting all , regardless of , religion, , or political opinion. Trump has brought wild divisive statements to new heights, claiming that Haitian immigrants are eating pets, Jews would be to blame for his loss, and members of the press and his own party should be shot.

It is no surprise that and other shot up during his first campaign and peaked during his presidency, along with in general.

Generally speaking, one can't even exist without seeing the ripple effects of this: people on the news, on the streets, at the kitchen table, repeating wildly divisive that Trump and his movement have normalized.

We need to move away from the politics of , , division.

We need to vote for Kamala Harris.
