Skivling<p>I like <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/Pixelfed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pixelfed</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/Loops" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Loops</span></a>, but I am annoyed that both mobile apps look so similar to their counterparts. Seriously, before looking at the title at the top my friends thought I had gotten Insta. And loops (although I'm not a fan of short form vids I test it out) UI looks very similar to what I've seen of Tiktok and Reels. Just saying. And they use the same icon sets.<br>The Pixelfed mobile app is also very slow on Android, luckily there is a better app <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/Pixelix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pixelix</span></a>.</p>

Closing the app suddenly, some Error-Messages on posting a new post. It‘s more a „Beta-Version“ than anything stable.</p>

Riquiñez :linuxmint:<p>Por cierto, aprovecho para recomendaros la app <a href="https://masto.es/tags/Pixelix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pixelix</span></a> para usar <a href="https://masto.es/tags/Pixelfed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pixelfed</span></a>. Me encanta su diseño, y me parece más fluida que la oficial. My short story is:
1) I noticed a toot about #Pixelix (Instagram-like open source project)
2) After some research, I found that the app is written in pure :kotlin: and uses good architecture practices
3) It took me a few days to run it on iOS
4) I contacted developers and asked if they were interesting to port the app to iOS
5) Now the app was approved and released on the App Store! (the app is open source and paid because it is a kinda donations)
