I started with RoboCop: Rogue City, which is part of PlayStation Plus. It’s part walking simulator, part police simulator, and part first-person shooter. Peter Weller voices the Tin Man and does a very good job. Other characters are visually based on Nancy Allen and Robert DoQui. The atmosphere is good.

A humanoid robot in a metallic suit stands alongside a woman in tactical gear, both appearing in an elevator setting. Text on the screen indicates the robot, identified as Robocop, has detected a threat.

It also provides visual functions (model rotation & zoom, meshing, surface flattening, display of normals, animation of the model according to parameters), and numerous examples (400 models in v.11) that can be modified (the formula is displayed, you modify it and click on ‘Run’ for the result). It's easy to use and fun (even for non-mathematicians).

📚️ ZQuest Classic is a libre, multi-platform, mature action-RPG engine, that comes with a clone of the NES version of The Legend of Zelda (1986, Nintendo). It lets you play numerous games (700 quests as of June 2023, mostly Zelda-like) designed by the community, and easily develop them thanks to its comprehensive, intuitive editor, which requires no programming (apart from the optional scripting language for extended functions), and also delivers data sets (traditional/improved). The project has brought together a community that has developed significant content, and its development is sustained.

📚️ Rexuiz is a fork and modernization (optimized code) of Nexuiz Classic. It's a free mature, and multi-platform FPS (based on the DarkPlaces engine), oriented towards fast multiplayer games (SP vs IA is also supported) in arenas (e-sport) in Deathmatch. It offers many online servers, maps, game modes (Deathmatch, Capture the flag, Team Deathmatch, Freeze Tag, Clan Arena, ...), and weapons (9, with primary and secondary fire). I really like the installer (which also allows you to update it), the "Cartoon" display option, the ability to play in windowed mode, and to practice solo before entering the multiplayer arenas. A very polished game. Great!
