Realized I’m not really interested in anymore. I’m tired of maintaining it and trying to make a new “perfect” dashboard once in several months just to realize I can do better with other set of custom cards and scripts… Looks like it’s not my hobby anymore. I want something rock solid like , for example. I’m happy with lights because it doesn’t require to carefully read release notes of every update. It just works.
I’m planning to try and .

Thanks @pax0707!

Hey #nextcloud-bubble

The first thing I was on the 3B+ 4 years ago. This was the start of my .

I have a lot of things since then. This post is a list of services in my Homelab and how I and my family use them.

Most used by the whole family and therefore my favorite are:
- Plex - for all moving pictures
- Synology Photos - for photos obviously
- Synology Drive - files and documents
- Home Assistant - for “Hey, you forgot to turn the lights off in your room, but never mind I can do it myself from the couch”.

Used by my wife together with me:
- Plane - project management
- Plausible Analytics - for analytics

Slowly nearing completion on migrating to a MacBook after nearly 30 years of Windows use.

One thing that has really surprised me though, is how it seems unable to keep a network share mounted. I literally used my NAS SMB folder shares as if they were local hard drives on Windows without a hiccup for years. MacOS drops the shares all the time rendering them unusable.

If anyone else has dealt with this before, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
