Year 3 of the Hashicorp State of Cloud Strategy Survey is out!

Despite a skew toward the Hashicorp user base, the study is a good portrayal of the state of large cloud users.

Check it out to see the state of:
- cloud waste (lots)
- multi-cloud (security is hard AF, but cost and resiliency)
- What gets in the way? (Skills, silos, sec/compliance/regulatory)

I added a pile of the Vantage cloud spending data to my cloud survey collection this morning. It's quite interesting and they are doing a great job keeping the cadence up as well as refining the analysis to make it more impactful.

They are reporting a rebound in compute in Q1 - as reflected in this chart showing the *share of compute spend* (not total spend)
