#Pump, #Aerosmith s 10. Album, erschien am 12.09.1989 und erreichte Platz 5 der US-Charts. Die Singles #LoveInAnElevator, #JaniesGotAGun, #WhatItTakes und #TheOtherSide wurden alle Hit-Singles. "Janie's Got a Gun" entstand durch einen Zeitungsartikel über Waffengewalt und brachte der Band ihren 1. Grammy. Die Aufnahmen fanden in Vancouver statt, wo die Band zu einem roheren Sound zurückkehren wollte.

A very disruptive friend has made repeated comments disparaging, harassing and even belittling me about not going kayaking.

Friday it all got too much and so we went #Kayaking.

It was very much what I've been needing.

I'm so fortunate to have this #Friend.

Architectural work is not about you.

It's about what's needed.

Of course, you should enjoy your work.

But you are wrong,
- if you want to play new games because you like them
- if you hope to implement technology at any cost because you are eager to learn it
- If you think your architecture is more important than the team and the collaboration.

That is an ego trip.
