#SwiftUI knowers: can anyone tell me why an existing Thing instance isn't deinitialzed when thing is set to nil? It's only deinitialized when a new Thing is assigned to thing.
This makes no sense to me. And it's bad if Thing is managing a resource.

So it turns out I had other Vim feedbacks that Apple addressed that I could look at now that I'm running Sonoma:
FIXED
FB9931693 - Xcode will crash if you use the 'cw' Vim command on an emoji
*NOT* FIXED (they did tell me to try it)
FB9768086 - Vim - Cannot move the cursor or insert text after yanking multiple words

Has anyone noticed the last couple of Xcode 15.3 builds, including the release, are really slow when editing text? They start off okay, but slow down dramatically after a while.
I shudder to think that new iOS and #Xcode betas are only 3 months away.
I am not even fully acquainted with Xcode 15 and iOS 17, for crying out loud!
