A Cannondale "Beast of the East" that was saved from the bin the cleaned and polished.
I then made an unicrown fork and minibullmoose stem and buildt it with a mix of second hand and bin parts.
The custom framebage was made out of old Thomson bag by local bag maker Chloé from C.Pouki (https://c-pouki.be/) whose workshop is a few streets away from ours.

I kept doing sewing tests and eventually closed up this "thing” even though none of the test panels match. It's a floppy, sad test bag. 😃

Notes:
* I'm still pretty horrible at sewing
* come up with firmer liner and/or stiffening material
* sewing machine doesn't like thick stuff (i.e. zipper gusset)
* should pin/clamp more things together before sewing

It won't be using velcro except for one onto seat tube. Top and down tube have threaded holes that bag will bolt to using 3d print panels, also stiffening that part of bag.

Testing and learning with scraps. There's a lot to juggle, first attempt at this I had one piece facing the wrong way so I ripped out the seam and started over. Next test a little better, but liner seam location is wrong, thus the extra visible seam. Next up I ironed things, which really helped, and used thicker liner material. Going to dig up an old zipper for more practice.

first top/side panel test, the liner seam is in wrong place thus all of the visible seams. The side panel is pretty wrinkled, which probably didn’t help. This section of bag has a semi-transparent strip, which would be fun to integrate into design.
second panel test using scrap of bag and a different, thicker liner. Also ironed both before sewing. I think it turned out much better, but feel like I’m still juggling a LOT. But each practice panel helps.

Oje, das wird doch wieder voll der Krampf. Am besten gleich Mutti einschalten.
Hoffentlich kann der Reißverschluss gerettet werden. Der ist mit der Rahmentasche nicht vernäht, sondern verklebt. Es wäre wirklich schade drum, die Tasche ist noch OK und erst zu 50% runter gerockt :o)
