Can we get a mouse with magsafe? Many of us use our laptops on small tables that we have to move back and forth constantly, meaning that Bluetooth mice constantly end up flying and crashing on the floor. A magsafe ring on the bottom, paired with a magsafe ring on the table, would allow us to snap it securely to the table when not in use. It could even be used for charging the mouse as well. Thank you.

TIL: Logitech MX Master 3S hat die USB-Buchse zum Laden nicht an der Unterseite. Diese zeigt vielmehr nach vorn – die Maus lässt sich also auch während des Ladens verwenden.

Das ist an sich auch genau das, was man erwarten würde. Und doch war das bei den von mir in der Vergangenheit verwendeten Maus-Modellen nicht immer so …

Extremely hot take: I got a Logitech MX Master 3S when I got my last Mac as it was the top of lists for best mouse for Mac.

I hated it.

Hated the ergonomics & it always seemed to lag behind in normal usage. I knew basically straight away that I didn't like it. Using the side scroll wheel and that shortcut button where your thumb rests felt really unpleasant so I traded it in at my local tech exchange.

I got a Magic Mouse 2 instead against the recommendation of many loud voices and dude - it's game changing. I don't have any ergonomic issues with it and I've been using it for weeks and it still has 76% charge, so while the port is in a stupid place it's a non-issue. When it's getting low just plug it in overnight when you're not using it??

But mainly I love how the tracking has no issues and the touch area for scrolling works great for horizontal use cases like Final Cut. Really happy with it. 🙈

Et voilà, viens encore de me faire piéger par la Magic Mouse d'apple sans batterie à plat. Aucune notification de l'OS alors qu'il arrive à m'envoyer d'autres choses même avec "ne pas déranger" actif. Sont vraiment saoulants !

Heureusement que j'avais pris un touchpad et qu'il a toujours un fond de batterie depuis son tiroir...

@der_raDDler Das wird seit der Vorstellung der #MagicMouse kritisiert oder belächelt. Nur da ich keine kabelgebundene Maus am Laptop haben will und mit einem leeren Akku die ohnehin nicht nutzen kann, frage ich mich, warum mich das stören soll, dass die Maus halt mal ne halbe Stunde aufn Rücken liegt.
Kann ja solange das Trackpad nutzen, spazieren gehen oder mir eine Suppe kochen. 🤷🏻‍♂️
