What's a fun name?

High-end models do come in higher storage versions (256, 512, 1TB) but companies ask exorbitant amounts for, although it's the exact same phone.

They know that customers who cannot afford these models, are likely to afford a monthly fee to a #cloud #service & they know that most of these customers are unaware of #NAS storage, #servers etc.

#Planned #obsolescence comes in many forms. This is one of them.

People must be #educated.

Buying fewer electronic devices is a great way to reduce our carbon footprint (and save money!). 💰 👣

Unfortunately, "planned obsolescence" is a reality, and it means that electronics are designed to break down quickly or software updates force you to buy more "modern" equipment.

So, if you want to track or celebrate the anniversary of your devices, check out this idea!
