The confirmation was received through the International Committee of the Red Cross, ending days of uncertainty about Al-Nassasrah’s fate after he and his team came under heavy fire in southern #gaza.

👋🏼 #introduction though I'm not new here, but moved to my #selfhosted #Mastodon instance half a year ago 📦.

I'm Florian 👨🏼‍💻, #IT/computer science student at #RWTHAachen 🇩🇪🎓 and #tech enthusiast.
I do lots of #selfhosting in my #homelab, develop apps with #Flutter 📲, but also websites 🌐 and other #software 💻.

I'm very passionate about emergency #medicine 🩺 and work as a #paramedic (Rettungssanitäter 🇩🇪) on the #ambulance 🚑 in #ems 🚨.
I love water sports, be it #sailing ⛵, #diving 🤿 or #swimming 🏊🏼‍♂️.

took the garbage and recycled out, turned around and fell down.

only hurt my elbow a bit, but next thing I know, I’m surrounded by very nice paramedics, asking me if I know what month and year it is.

I did *not* hit my head when I toppled over, but I didn’t mind the questions that the *very* lovely paramedic asked me.

This claim is bullshit. I know a highly-qualified, commended Alberta advanced care paramedic that is unable to get even a phonecall, much less an interview, after having applied for >18 positions in BC after moving here. He's been told he is both over-qualified & lacking the required qualifications — for the same position. He's leaving the profession after going on 20 years. BC Emergency Services can take a flying fuck.
