I'm cyclopentane (or pentane for short), and I'm mainly interested in compsci, specifically FOSS, functional programming, functional package management and system configuration (aka NixOS), self-hosting and network engineering

I'm also still doing theoretical physics (quantum gravity) at @uniheidelberg, but I'm in the process of moving away from that

I'm Alger, Catalan, with one foot in Barcelona and the other in Domodossola (long love story).

Philosopher by training,
I work in digital ethics for dual-use technologies at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.

Just looking for a quiet space to share ideas, learn, build community, and avoid noise, manipulation, and social media games. Hopefully, also smile a bit.

I am also fond of beer (especially) and tea, and I am hopelessly addicted to coffee. Usually, you will find me reading something or listening to music.
