Yay! Late night work here. Decided to put a petal from the wilting sunflower in the yard under the microscope. Unlike most of the previous microscope shots I've posted here the past few days, this one was lit "through" and not "on" (I use an old microscope and I use a desk lamp to direct the light onto the specimen). I've changed some factors in the whole set, so probably the magnification here is about 320X; 10X for objective, 10X for eyepiece, 3.2X for the camera and lens combination.
Done with focus-stacking, but as usual, it's not that smooth (and as you can see, had to crop large areas out). I've stacked around 57 images. I need to find some way to make the whole process systematic and coherent as much as possible.... or maybe just get another microscope
