SCOTUS Sides With Woman Claiming Anti-Straight Bias - Joe.My.God.

Prominent celebrities doing ads for horrible mobile games with micro transactions is my new pet peeve.
Seriously how much money are they getting for this? Do they realize this is basically an online gambling scam?
When I rant, I always feel better. Try for yourself and thank me later!
Not one time, out of all of the countless times I bought alcohol back when I drank, was the customer service anything other than great. Alcohol is a drug; it is insane to suggest otherwise. Why, then, is the experience so much different when I go to the pharmacy?
@johnleonard these are so annoying
I can’t even tap the buttons, they are all off screen and no way to scroll
#ph rant:
Sinus infection # ??? this year … I’ve actually lost count and it’s only June.
I think it’s 4. Plus one bout of strep. This is an issue I’ve had for over a decade - it relapses and remits.
My body is rude. So, so rude.
Also, I can’t even see an ENT about this until I get a CT scan, and that’s not until November, then I go into the 4-6 month appointment queue … even when they know I was already on an ENT surgery list in BC before even moving here and now battle autoimmunity which fuels infections - yet - no urgent referral.
It’s “hurry up and wait” medicine. Health’care’, eh? #rant
#health #medical #infection
I dislike #passwords as much as any other nerd, but this is why I have a password manager. I like logging in with one click.
But the move to magic link by e-mail only is starting to grind my gears. Latest offender is @404mediaco who appear to have no way of logging in other than by magic link sent to your e-mail address.
Rather than logging in with one click, I now have to open another tab, log into my inbox, find the email, click the link and open yet another tab...
y tho
There are two types of webinar:
One where they have the chat ON, and it's a real value add to the webinar. People share links and discuss things.
The other is where no matter how great the speakers are, the chat is OFF, and it all feels really soulless and a great missed opportunity for real community discussion.
Please leave the chat function ON in webinars!
*sigh* another *nix tutorial, another "configure sudo to not require a password."
Does nobody understand that the password requirement is a security feature? Especially in this day and age of "copy this code and paste it into a terminal" (ugh)?
