#SlowSunday

A bit sunny outside, but very cold. Things are moving like molasses - which is fitting for #SlowSunday, right? Those are not really the lazy, kinda comfortable and yummy molasses one would use for baking and such, though.

But more the slowly engulfing sort, drowning, constricting, draining the already exhausted, fearful mind. Like malevolent and caustic black pitch creeping and crawling up and asphyxiating everything...

...so here's some concurrent #DarkAmbient with splotches of #Synth and #DrumAndBass to fit those sentiments. Glimpses of warm beauty within the circuits 🖤 ->

Starting yesterday, I'm trying to recreate a habit I had in 2018. I would sit in a chair at a desk or table for at least an hour. During that hour my goal was to draw & color. It improved my art and kept me sane. I think it's time to get back to that. It was so much fun and I miss practicing like that.

So.

I love making #cyanotypes especially on a summer day. I've made a few this year and experimented with new papers. Like this handmade, aged piece. I posted the image in August, took it out of the copy frame today and this is what it turned out to be. It looks like the paper was aged with tea. Not what I expected, but a perfect 2-in-1 method if you want a brown image instead of a blue one. :)
